We specialize in general home improvement, electrical, plumbing, painting, custom wood fabrication, and exterior home renovation projects. All of our specialists are licensed contractors and are highly skilled in many areas. We do not do roofing, second-story exterior work, service HVAC systems or do work that requires an electrical or plumbing permit. Chances are if you have a home improvement project in mind, we can match you with an industry professional to work with you.

How long does it take to get an appointment?

On average, we schedule 1 to 3 days in advance. For larger jobs, we may need more notice and for smaller jobs we may be able to fit you in earlier.

All of our technicians are licensed contractors and have multiple years of experience before working with us. Additionally, they go through our rigorous vetting and assessment process before being sent out to you. Budget Right Handyman provides $2 million insurance on each job, and all of our technicians carry an additional $1 million dollars of liability insurance. Our work is 100% labor guaranteed for one year. We specialize in home improvement, electrical, plumbing, painting, custom wood fabrication, child-proofing, junk removal, appliance installation, and exterior home renovation.

Is my estimated price accurate?

We pride ourselves on transparent and upfront pricing. To ensure customer satisfaction, we always strive to safe side our estimates and come in under budget. However, very occasionally unforeseen circumstances can change the work scope and make the final payment higher than the original estimate. If this occurs, one of our professionals will be able to asses the additional cost once they are on-site and update you with the estimated cost of your project.

What should I expect on the day of service?

On the day of service one of our home improvement professionals will come out to your house at the scheduled start time. If they are running late, we will notify you. Your professional will treat you and your home with respect while they complete the project and clean up the area they are working in after themselves. When the project is complete, they will invoice you for the completed work. We are always available via phone or text during the whole process if any questions should arise.

Our main office located in downtown Chicago and we service all of Cook, DuPage, Will, and Lake Counties in Illinois. In Wisconsin we service the counties of; Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Walworth and Kenosha. Our service area in Indiana is Lake County and Porter County.
